Services at St. Matthew's - What to Expect.... Sundays

We are a vibrant, growing and welcoming church running two services on a Sunday morning. 

The 9am Said Eucharist, held in the Chapel.

10.30am Sunday Celebration, held in the main Church.

The 9am service is in a traditional style and always includes Communion.  

The 10.30am service is more informal and uses a mixture of contemporary worship songs and more traditional hymns. Sunday Celebration includes Communion every week apart from the first Sunday of each month. If you are not accustomed to receiving Communion, you are welcome to come forward for a blessing. 

We would love to welcome you to one of these services. Please feel free to come 'as you are' - we do not have a dress code!!! 

We always aim to make new visitors especially welcome.

If you visit us on a Sunday, please fill in one of our Welcome Cards so that we are able to invite you to one of our regular welcome lunches.

Tea and coffee is served after the 10.30am meeting. Please stay and join us if you can.

Children and Young People

We love families!!!

Every week during the 10.30am service we have a Creche for pre-school aged children.  This is staffed by a team of volunteers who have been DBS checked and undergone safeguarding training.

On the 1st Sunday of each month we hold an All Age Worship service where children and adults worship together in a short, vibrant service (the Creche is still available).

In term time, groups for school age children are run in the hall - Splash for KS1 and Waves for KS2. 

On the third Sunday of the month our youth group, Ignite, meets during the service and is for year 7 upwards. Ignite also meets every other Friday at 6.30pm during term time. 

Weekdays

Morning & Evening prayer are usually held from the Lady chapel, These services are livestreamed to St. Matthews Youtube channel - St Matthew's Church, Yiewsley - YouTube. Monday-Friday 9am & 5pm. Wednesdays no morning prayer - Midday prayer at 12pm instead.

There is a car park to the right hand side of the building and also one to the left, as well as ample parking available in Morrisons and WIlkinsons car parks.
